Hardmarine

An experimental hard take on our Supermarine Cotton. Like the Supermarine, the Hardmarine uses extra long staple cotton yarns woven in a complex, super dense construction to create a highly water resistant fabric. The Hardmarine differs in a few subtle ways though. For one, it is yarn dyed creating a depth of color unlike what can be achieved with traditional piece dying. It is also heavier than our standard Supermarine and (as its name implies) has a hard structural, almost moldable feeling. Functionally it’s quite similar to the regular Supermarine, but results in a new look and feel in the garment that we like.
