Description

A heavyweight button-up, garment dyed, boxy and beautiful, made in Manhattan and dyed in Queens. The Acottontwill is 350gsm of cotton goodness, spun and woven in Italy by Albini. The Boxford cut walks the line between shirt and overshirt but at this weight, overshirt is the way.

Fabric Story

Sometimes we just don’t know what draws us towards certain fabrics. This is simple cotton twill from Albini’s Albiate subdivision but there is something that drew it to us immediately. At 350gsm it’s much heavier than traditional shirting fabrics (especially those made in Italy!) And it’s designed explicitly for garment dyeing. And wow does it garment dye, sucking in tons of color that is accented strongly by the prominent valleys in the twill. Simple, hardwearing cotton goodness, ain’t no more to it.
