The two way front zipper zips from the base all the way to the top of the hood for brutally efficient coverage, although in general practice, we recommend leaving it open enough to see clearly.

Nightwarp

Fabric Story

A sunblock you can wear like clothing. Super stretchy with a soft hand, the Nightwarp is a nylon version of our polyester Sunwarp fabric, warp knit in Italy. The Nightwarp has a slightly lower UPF of 40 compared to the Sunwarp’s 50+ but that still means you can be in the sun 40x longer before burning than you can unprotected. At 160gsm it’s slightly lighter than Sunwarp. At 75% nylon and 25% elastane, it’s robust and durable with a comforting snap. Nylon absorbs more moisture than polyester (4% vs. 0.4%) so it’s not quite as dry as Sunwarp, but it still dries quickly and some people find the slightly absorptive touch to be more comfortable. Plus it comes in tons of colors we can’t get in Sunwarp, bringing some night time subtlety to the land of sun protection.
