Description

A spun poly double knit experiment in a Cut Zero t-shirt form. We’re always drawn to the expensive, extra nice versions of materials commonly thought of as cheap, maybe because it’s really nice or maybe we’re just seduced by the material subversion of it all, who knows.

Fabric Story

A beguilingly nice 170gsm polyester double knit. The secret sauce is the spun polyester yarns. Most polyester is made from filament yarns, long extrusions of poly yarns straight from the spinneret. Spun poly uses chopped up staples of polyester that are spun together the way cotton fibers are spun together, creating a softer yet toothier fiber. Basically a nicer poly.

As for the push/pull name? To be honest it comes from some claims the mill makes that we don’t really understand so we’re not talking about them until we do. But it did turn into our working fabric name and in absence of something better now it’s the official fabric name (for the time being.)
