Experiment 288 - Futurecore Warmshirt
An experimental overshirt optimized for warmth without overheating. The extremely breathable 60gsm non-migrating insulation is combined with a rugged F.Cloth exterior and nylon-core merino against the skin to create a dry mid/lightweight insulation layer with a snap front and discrete hand warmer pockets.

FABRIC
FUTURECORE 60
FACE: F.Cloth, 200gsm
INSULATION: Alpha 60, 60 gsm
LINING: Nylon-core Merino, 170 gsm

The 17.5 micron 170gsm nylon-core merino interior keeps things soft and dry with all of the natural performance of merino. On the outside is the the rugged but breathable F.Cloth with an FO Zelan R3 DWR treatment for quick drying and handling light rain and snow. This combination traps a nice amount of warmth but begins to dump heat before things get too hot. At the 60 gsm Alpha weight this makes for great indoor/outdoor use, and a versatile layering piece.
