Made from an intimate blend of 75% 16.5 micron merino wool spun with 25% nylon staple fibers to create an extremely thin 9100 shingles) yarn with enough strength to create extremely lightweight fabrics that don’t need to be babied. Yarn dyed and knit into a jersey, this stuff weighs only 110gsm yet it packs a UPF ring of 25. Combined with merino’s legendary thermobuffering and dry body climate this makes for an extremely versatile fabric that can be worn alone in extreme heat or as a next-to-skin layer deep into winter.
