Dreamspun Merino Cut Two T-shirt

A dream of an ultralight merino, betaspun to new levels of relative durability. Dreamspun takes a lusciously soft 16.5 micron merino wool (79%) and spins it with 21% nylon filaments to create an ultralightweight merino fabric heavily protected by nylon’s legendary durability. At 110gsm this is as close to nothing as we’ve ever seen merino get without needing to be babied. The betaspun nylon does the heavy lifting, nylon filaments are spun around the outside of a merino core, forming an open protective layer somewhat akin to snow chains on a tire. This technique significantly increases the durability of the merino under multiple force loads, while staying open enough to allow for the full of effect of merino’s hygroscopic absorption to continue. The net result is a stronger merino with all the legendary dry body climate and natural thermobuffering performance that make it such a great fiber.
