Description

A button-up thrown askew experiment [#505] for a world that makes no sense. The left side is a full buttonhole longer than the right, there are more holes than buttons. There is no “proper” way to button or wear this shirt, the wearer must throw caution to the wind and find their own way. Sewn in the ethereal and dry Apaperycotton fabric woven in northern Italy by Albini.

Fabric Story

A breathable, crisp and exceptionally light (90gsm) cotton poplin with a dry papery finish from the shirting masters at Albini in northern Italy. Woven with a combination of 96 singles and 100 two ply yarns using Albini’s rare (500 bale a year) Giza 87 extra-long staple Egyptian cotton from the Nile delta. It is given a special finishing process that gives it an extra dry touch and slightly uneven papery texture, while also helping keep the fabric structure open for a gentle breathability.
