A simple heavyweight and garment dyed overshirt experiment. Features two low slung and set-in chest pockets and a hidden placket front. Mostly it's about the burly 350gsm Acottontwill fabric and how it soaks up color beautifully.

Fabric Story

Sometimes we just don’t know what draws us towards certain fabrics. This is simple cotton twill from Albini’s Albiate subdivision but there is something that drew it to us immediately. At 350gsm it’s much heavier than traditional shirting fabrics (especially those made in Italy!) And it’s designed explicitly for garment dyeing. And wow does it garment dye, sucking in tons of color that is accented strongly by the prominent valleys in the twill. Simple, hardwearing cotton goodness, ain’t no more to it.
