Fabric Story

A lightweight (~190gsm) cotton flannel distilled to its essence by the masters at Albini. Albini weave their own cotton yarns and spin their own cloth in their Northern Italian mill, and with hundreds of years of shirting expertise no one else does it quite like they do. Acottonflannel is built around 30/2 yarns and woven in a twill weave, generally into yarn-dyed plaid structures. The face is brushed to a beautiful softness while the backside is left smooth. At 190gsm this fabric is heavyweight by Albini's dress shirt standards, but lightweight by flannel standards. A simple and straightforward fabric executed with precision and care, a perfect lightweight flannel if you will.
