Longcotton Doublejersey

A doubled down take on extra long staple American pima cotton. At 170gsm they are a classic midweight t-shirt weight but this is not regular jersey fabric, this is a doublejersey. Construction wise this is basically two super lightweight fabrics knit together in Italy to create an exceptionally soft and smooth fabric with a slightly spongey feel. Classic jerseys have slightly different textures on each side, a smooth side and slightly toothier side, this doublejersey knits them together back to back (using a small (6%) amount of nylon) so that only the smooth sides are exposed. What that means is that all that exceptional extra long staple cotton is putting its best face to the world, looking sharp and feeling smooth.
