Ramielight

A lightweight cheat code for the hot and humid. Ramielight is our lightest woven ramie fabric—an airy 125gsm, garment-dyed plain weave. Ramie is a Southeast Asian bast fiber from a nettle plant which has a remarkable ability to absorb lots of moisture while retaining a dry touch, in effect generating a localized “body climate” that is less humid than the air outside. It has stiff yarns that weave up into very open structures allowing for high amounts of air flow. In tropic-like conditions this combination of dryness and air flow is a little bit like cooling magic— an air conditioner you can wear.
